Just like 1 million other people out there, my New Year's Resolution is to lose weight. Instead of going to rejoin the gym after the new year, I decided that I would go today so that I could get a head start next week to my weight loss 2009 goal. So I headed out to the cheapest gym in town with Sarah who was also going to rejoin the gym. I haven't been a member of the gym for quite a while (keep this in mind for later in my story).
We went in the gym and we asked the dude at the desk to help us re-sign up. The dude kind of looked at us strange and said that out of the blue, they are closing the gym on Wednesday. He was like, it was a shock to all of us and he is not even sure if there will be anyone working there tomorrow. Now, this completely ruined my plan. I was going to sign up at the gym today (this gym is one of the cheapest and they don't make you sign a contract) and start going on Monday. I didn't know what to do!
So Sarah and I decided to continue on with the other errands we were running and grabbed some lunch. After that I said that I might as well go back to the Beverly Athletic Club (BAC)and sign up. I explained that I knew they had a crazy contract and an insane sign up fee, but it was the only other gym in Beverly and I can't not sign up for one and let my fat ass get any bigger.
Sooo...we walked in the BAC and I filled out some paper and waited for the manager to come over. Dave, the manager, finally came over and we walked into his office. Now, on that little paper it asked if I had ever been a member of a gym before and I wrote the North Shore Athletic Center (the one that went of business). The dude went on and on, about how he felt sooo bad for the members there and they are taking them under his wing! He said that there would be NO contract NO start up fee and that we don't have to worry. At this point I was feeling a TINY big guilty, but hey, that gym totally rips you off and I was once a member of BAC and the NSAC, soooo...I just went with it. He took is on a tour, gave us a free T-Shirt and had a some guy make us free smoothies....as we walked out with our new little key chain, yes, I felt guilty, but honestly, he never asked if I was a current member of that club and he just started giving us stuff....what was I suppose to do?!
So I am off to the gym and eating healthy again. My goal is to be a BIT healthier for my doctor's apt in March. I will let you know how that goes!!!!

I know, it's amazing, I am actually updating my blog! I know it's been a while, I just haven't really been in the mood to blog lately. I haven't even been in the Christmas mood lately, which is really scary for me....I am usually the first person to have carols singing and decorations up...well..I just put them up last week!
So, what have I been up to lately? Well, I have decovered that there is no way in hell that I can afford a condo by myself. Which sucks, because paying rent is basically like throwing money in the trash each week and I feel that being almost 30 I should be looking to actually own something so that I am not paying a mortgage until I am 80. But I can't seem to convince John or Michelle that moving in with me and helping me pay the mortgage is an awesome idea for them! LOL
In orther news, I have finished my shopping and wrapping which is great and I just spent 1 hour outside trying to dig out from the snow storm. At least I don't have to work out today;) I also got out of work yesterday at 1 due to the weather, which is completely never heard of for my work! I am sure they didn't want anything like years past. I know that I have spent many a hour trying to dig out from a foot of snow in the parking lot just to find out that I couldn't make it up the hill!!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday! I have a ton of goals and exciting things coming up in the New Year so I know there will be many posts to come!

Haven't really been in the mood to blog lately...
But I did have a wonderful birthday and Thanksgiving:) Have to love the feeling of having ate wayyyyyy too much (that is exactly the way I am feeling STILL and it 10:00PM..lol) After the festivities Michelle and I decided we didn't want to just go home so we hit up the mall and saw Twilight. Now, I didn't read the books like I was planning on doing, however, I was obsessed with Buffy as a kid, then of course Angel, and even liked that show Moonlight that was on for like 1 season, so I figured that I would like it. And it was a great movie! If you have a chance, definitely check it out.
Other than that, I haven't had any exciting things to report. I have started to freak about not having accomplished very much for my age and with the big 30 approaching I started to think that should try to like buy a house or something. Now, I should have probably thought about this several months ago, because with most mortgage companies wanted 20% down, not sure I can swing it. I mean, who really has $50,000 just sitting in the bank...well..NOT ME!!
So that is definitely on my list of things that I would like to accomplish, of course there is the whole getting married and having kids thing (but that of course is not that easy!)....buying a house is at least something I can do on my own...LOL
Anyway, I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving today with your families. Maybe I will be in the mood to write more often in the coming weeks:)

It's been quite the week....
...to say the least. Michelle and I keep trying to make light of things by saying, "Remember Monday?" and laughing a little at how uncomfortable the memory of that day is. Black Monday as some are calling it. We all went to work at our place of employment that day, doing insurance type things...and many were sent home with their belongings in boxes, in tears....what a day indeed.
Yes, I am very lucky to have my job and I am thanking the lord every day that I still have it! I am just so sorry for all those people at work that did lose their job and want to wish them the best of luck. I know that everything will be OK.
I am going to keep watching the news to see what happens to GE Consumer and Industrial, because if that is sold...we all know what that means for us....but until then I am going to sit in my cube, take the abuse the stress, and thank god when I get that check every two weeks.
So I said goodbye to many people this week and also said hello to a new President....so hopefully things look will brighter soon:)

Weight Loss by Hypnosis
So, I have hit an all time low people and a couple of weeks ago my Mom called and told me that she and I were going to get hypnotized...well...it happened and I am hoping that it works!!
Bascially we went to Salem (I know, the day before Halloween, we were desperate) to the Hawthorne Hotel and met with this theraptist who specializes in weight loss and stop smoking.
There was a room of about 15 of us and it took about 1 hour. After we were hypnotized and given our ideal weight, we were on our way to lose weight subconsiously. I hope it works!!
To keep it up, he also gave us a CD that we are to listen to every night before we go to bed and one to listen to during the day (to get a subliminal message).
I am crossing my fingers that it helps me!!!

Halloween Update
I just wanted to update you all on my Halloween 2008. Well...it was a work day as usual, but I was running on basically 2 hours of sleep. This was because either children but more likely Endicott College kids scared the crap out of me the night before. I seriously thought someone was breaking into the house. So I stood guard at the top of the stairs ready to call the police at a given notice.....
But it ends up (and I found this out the next morning) that they had just come up on our porch and stole my Jack-O-Lantern. I know!!! My poor pumpkin!! Jerks.....there went any thoughts of lighting him up for the 2 trick or treaters we were hoping to get!
BUT it was a monumental year...we got 10 trick or treaters! Yes, we did !! And because we get so few kids each year, we bought full size candy bars. Yup, we were the favorite house on the street...go us!

5th Annual went down without a hitch!
I honestly can't believe I have had 5 Halloween parties since living in this house! Craziness if you ask me. Time flies big time. This year like every other was a ton of fun. Everyone dressed up this year, yes even Melanie!! Melanie is a trooper since she has to work every Sunday morning:)
Although I had reservations about my custom this year, it ended up being OK; despite the extra 30 lbs that I have on my body. But I forgot all about that once people started to show up and the more I drank!
It was great to do shots with Melissa and Mary again (have to love the size shot Mary pours..hehe).
So anyway, it's tradition that I post some pics on here, so here you go!!:)

Haven't written in a couple of weeks
so I thought I would update you on what type of things I have been doing. Well, besides work which is always awesome, I have been completely enjoying this fall weather. I have stalked up on Pumpkin Spice coffee and spent WAY too much money at Yankee Candle last week buy the latest fall scents. I enjoyed the Topsfield Fair *twice* which equaled two caramel apples...haha. I have also started to decorate for the Halloween Party next weekend which is going to be a blast...not so sure about my costume this year, mostly because I have gained quite a bit of weight in the past 2 years, but it will be rad none the less.
This past weekend I hit up Good Ol' Salem with John and Sarah. We just took in the sites and the tourists, stopped for some sushi and we even went into a haunted house. I have not been in a Haunted House since an incident in Salem many moons ago...let's just say I was hugging people I never thought I would and we ended up busting through the door and ending up in a pig pile in front of my friend's Mom..hehe..good times. But this one was actually cool...and the host was an actor dressed up like the joker from the New Batman. Seriously thought he could have been Heath Ledger's twin.
Anywho, I should have many very interesting photos from the party next weekend. You never know what is going to happen at the annual Halloween Party!

Love Fall Weekends
Fall is by far my favorite season. This past weekend I definitely took advantage of the fallness that is around. I went to the Topsfield Fair, which has been an annual tradition since I don't know when. It was a blast. We ate lots of fair food, saw lots of fair animals, lost lots of money playing fair games and even went on a fair ride or two!! Sorry though no Smallest Woman in the World. Not sure what's up with that, haven't seen her in a few years.
Then on Saturday, John and I went to Russel Orchards, which has become an annual event for us, at least for the past 3 years. He took me there on our second date, because there is a HUGE pig there named Big Boy. He knew I liked pigs, so he thought this would be a good date. He was right! They have cider, animals, hay rides, apple picking, cider donuts, home made wine...I could go on forever, it's a ton of fun!
Then of course I purchased some Halloween M & Ms this weekend, bad idea!!! I am on my second week back on WW and umm ya, the candy has made it very hard to stay in my points...lol..I am currently eating some now...shhhh..don't tell!!
Other fall events, my Dad's bday just past and today is my parent's anniversary. So next weekend the family is heading down to Foxwoods to celebrate. Hopefully I will win big!:)

Chilhood dream come true, no seriously!
So many of you know that I have mentioned NKTOB, numerous times in this blog. I know that a lot of people thought that I was crazy when I said that a good friend of mine saw Jon in Starbucks a few years back, especially when I was excited that I saw him! And I know many of you thought I was nuts when I told you they were coming back for a reunion tour! Well, my life is now complete....I can die a happy woman....no joke.
Last night, was awesome!! I wasn't allowed to go to their concert as a child, yet I owned all their tapes, posters, buttons, bed sheets, playing cards...(ok, I could keep going on and on like a lot of your girls out there;)). Anyway, since I wasn't allowed to go as a child, it was a given that I had to go this time.
I was surrounded by mostly woman from age 25-35, decked out in early 90s NKTOB gear, screaming like 10 year olds for these 40 year old men. It...was...awesome!!
They rocked out all the old school stuff and we knew every word. It was so much fun....as a good friend of mine who was also there said, " a total cheese fest", but that is what made it awesome!!
Here are a few photos from last night:)

Sundays Blow
They really do. I honestly get ill just thinking about the week that is ahead of me. I think back and the weekend flew by so quickly I don't even know what I did and I feel like a accomplished nothing, awesome. And the work week ahead of me is sick, it really is. Although next weekend I am seeing NKOTB, so at least that is something to look forward to:)
So lately, I am not sure if it just me, but there seems to be a TON of bikes and cars that are not following the rules of the road and they are out for me. Seriously.....in the past week, I have seen at least 3 bikers blow through stop signs and red lights and plow into on coming traffic. They start yelling at the cars and giving them the finger...UM....hello! You just blew through that stop sign, I am NOT psychic, I didn't know you were coming!!!
I also have had this with a few cars as well. Two times that I remember in the past week. I don't usually have road rage, but this woman ticked me off sooo much that I had to honk back. I am driving down a main road ( my road to be exact) and I was taking a left (clearly had the right away here) and she blew through a stop sign and ended up having to stop for me. She started to honk and yell at ME! Um...lady, you just plowed through the stop sign, you are clearly in the wrong, you clearly need your head examined (HONK!!). The awesome part is Michelle was in the car and gave her the finger (go Michelle!!).
Ok, I think I am taking my Sunday anger out in the blog..lol. I guess it needs to come out somewhere.
Anyway, off to start another awesome week in the world of insurance. If you don't hear from me in a while, work has killed me....

Back from Vacation
I am back from Fort Lauderdale and I had a great time. I feel kind of bad because I wished soooo hard that IKE would not hit Florida and it didn't. Now it looks like it will devastate Galveston TX, so sad:( I feel awful for those people and wish them all well.
But anyway, Florida was a lot of fun. We didn't see a drop of rain the 6 days we were there. It was really windy for most of the days, but it really didn't matter to us much because it was still like 95 degrees..lol. A lot different that it being windy here.
I am a picture freak and took about 200 photos. We also bought two other photos that I will have to scan into the computer (which I plan to do tomorrow, because I am way too lazy today). We got back at about 2 this afternoon and I am very glad that I have the weekend to recover from my vacation..lol...I am not looking forward to going back to work though, booo.
Anyway, I will post a few pictures here now, and once the others are uploaded I will either add them here or on my facebook!

OK
I am totally over hurricanes, they are forming by the minute..lol...As we speak there are like 1239821382 tropical depressions forming off the coast of Africa...so I am officially over it.
So, today was the day after labor day and basically the last day driving to work without school buses and crazy parents trying to get their kids to school on time, so that is annoying....
Yesterday I saw this flamingo at a yard sale and I totally knew my Mom would love it. John and I walked down to the yard sale and the flamingo ended up being this lame wooden thing, not really worth anything, so we didn't buy it.
About 7 last night, Heidi and her daughter Savannah (old friends of the fam) run up to the door. I go to let them in and what does Savannah have in her hand, that flamingo! Haha...I took it over my parents tonight and they loved it.
I went to get some sushi at Shaws after work tonight for dinner and I was craving a Diet Coke or Pepsi bad! I left the store and, gasp, I forgot my drink! I totally sucked it up and told myself that this is a sign and I should be drinking water, blah blah blah....
I come home, open the refrigerator and there is the Pepsi that I bought yesterday but didn't drink! SWEEET! Great day, folks, great day..haha

Ike Anyone?
Wtf. Why on earth did I think it was a good idea to plan this trip during hurricane season. Atually a better question is, why didn't I get trip insurance????

Meet Hanna

The newest Tropical Storm that has formed in the Atlantic Ocean. I know most people wouldn't be paying too much attention to this storm yet, especially since it is so far away from land at this time, however, many think that this storm will became a category 3 hurricane and possible hit land next weekend. One of the potential landing spots is Florida. Now, I will be heading down there next weekend...AWESOME! I know I was taking a chance going to Florida during huricane season, but I wasn't banking on a hurricane every week in the month of September. SUPER.
Oh well, it is still about a week away from reaching land and who knows what path it will decide to take. All I know is that Florida appears to be surrounded at this time and it is kind of scary. Not only because I am upset because I will be going on vacation during either a hurrican or rain, but because it appears that Gustav is taking the same track as Katrina did and according to many of the predicted paths for Hannah, it appears that the Gulf Coast could also be hit by this one!

Totally In Weekend Mode Already
Although there is one more day in this week, I have already checked out and I am in weekend mode. This summer work has been crazy busy and although I did have a few days off this summer, it really didn't help my sanity. So I have Monday off, yay! Then, I have a four day week and then I am off to Fort Lauderdale. Because I am so excited I have already picked out about 15 things that I want to do while down there, which really doesn't leave much time for just hanging out at the hotel and the beach. I am sure once I am down there I will just be in complete vacation mode and forget about the list of things that I have planned and just take a seat next to the pool! I also hope to get a day or two of sleeping in! :)
In other news, as sad as it is, I have already started to think about Halloween! I know, I am nuts! However, I have been asked a few times when my party is going to be, so I have been forced to think about it! (do you like how I am blaming this on others? hah). So, I have the date picked out, I just need to decide on what I am going to be this year. I am not sure I can convince John to be anything too exciting, but I am going to do my best!
And lastly I just wanted to let everyone know that my car has had ZERO probably since my last disaster! So, I am holding off on the car shopping...so I can at least save my pennies for the next few months...hopefully years:)
Happy Labor Day Everyone!!

Fall Fever
OK, I know it's still August, however, I am having an intense case of fall fever. The stores are putting their Halloween/Fall stuff out and there was a little chill in the air tonight that reminded me off a fall evening. Fall is by far my favorite season and I am by no means trying to rush the last few weeks of summer, but I can't wait for the Halloween Party, apple picking, going to buy pumpkins and burning fall candles. I love it!!
Next weekend is Labor Day, the following week, John and I are going to Florida for the week, and then there will only be one more week of summer. YIKES!!
Bring on the fall!:)

To clarify the photo of me below
Ok there is a bit of discussion going on currently about the photo of me and why I am in the car and buckled up. Well, it's not really that complicated if you are me and in my head. I use my camera all the time and I forgot it in the car. It had previously been in my purse, which actually came in handy if I wanted to take a photo. So anyway, I must have taken it out and slipped it in the side pocket of the passenger's side door. John typically drives my car when we are hanging out so this wouldn't have been abnormal.
Anyway, after I received the comment about needing a photo, I decided I would take one of my new haircut, however, I could not locate my camera. I ran out to the yard (yes, I keep my car in the backyard) and first opened the driver's side door. I quickly remembered that the camera was in the passengers side. I walked over found the camera in the side pocket. I decided that I would just get in the car (use the mirror on the other side of the sun visor thingy and take the photo, which I did. I actually left the camera in the car, because I used the last photo on my memory card and decided that I would buy a larger one later that day.
Now, I have no idea why I buckled up. But I seriously have a bad habit about buckling up no matter what I am doing in the car. So I am guessing that I buckled up out of habit.
So I received enough questions about the photo that I had the desire to explain. No sure why I would have lied about this, if someone was available to have taken my photo at that time I am sure that I would have asked them to do so...
150 Miles for a Haircut?
As many of you girls out there know, changing hair dresses can be scary and traumatic. You are afraid to try someone new and at the same time you are afraid of hurting your hairdresser's feelings when they suddenly realize you haven't been there in a while. I have had the same hair dresser for literally 20 years. She is the nicest person ever, but she is never willing to experiment much with my hair. She has this thing where she can cut inches off the bottom, but styling it anyway different just isn't her thing.
Well anyway, while I was on vacation in Maine last week (yes, I was up there during every rainy day possible), I decided to break my boredom one day by getting a haircut. A woman a few cabins over wanted us to go meet her friends niece (or something like that) and she just happened to be a hair dresser up town. I thought this would be a great opportunity to try something new. She is young and probably up her modern hairstyles...
So long story short, I went there, she gasped at how thick my hair was and asked me if I have ever had my hair thinned. I said no, but I told her she could do whatever she wanted. So she thinned and layered my hair and I love it.
There was so much of my hair on the ground, that my sister and cousin (also there with me) were gasping every time she thinned it some more. I was getting a little nervous myself, especially when she told me that I would continue to have hair fall out for the next day or two and when my hair clogged their vacuum thingy..lol
But I love it! And now, I can't drive 150 miles for a haircut every time I need one, so I have to find someone new. I have been given a few suggestions, and I obviously don't need a haircut soon, but if anyone has a hip, young hairdresser that you think could keep up my awesome do...let me know! haha

Never Boring at Market Basket
As many of you know I like to shop at Market Basket. It is cheaper, a bit more ghetto and never boring. I usually head up there after work some point during the week. I hate going on the weekend because it is really busy, so I usually hang with the weeknight crowd. The last time I went I had a very interesting girl at the check out. I honestly don't remember what she was saying, however, I do remember leaving saying I HAVE to blog about that and also made a mental note to never go to her lane again.
Anyway, I went to Market Basket again tonight. I lost my mental note momentarily and got in her line. I honestly didn't even think about it until I heard her talking to the woman in front of me. I seriously thought about moving, but I was next in line and every other line were at least 6 people deep...so I stuck it out.
So you can get a mental imagine, the girl is probably 20ish about 6' tall and fairly heavy. I am not being mean in any way, but I do feel that she has a small beard growing...ok....anway, I got up to the line and I was standing directly in front of her. She says, "Long day, huh?" I said yes and asked her when she gets off work blah blah blah. Then she started talking about how she is in Law School (ok, no offense, but I can't see that), how she was going to go to Suffolk however the first case they put her on was a criminal trial and the guy was a serial killer who called himself "Hannibal Lector" and how he bit the nose off his last attorney. She said that she just couldn't take it and is now going to North Shore Community College. Now she has a friend that is on trial for first degree murder and she told her that she will be her lawyer and that she will definitely get her off. She said that her friend is really scared and she will make sure she is not convicted. There was a lot of other stuff in there as well, but I was very scared but polite and took my bag and walked away. Um....really? You are a freshman of criminal law and you seriously think I believe this? I don't even believe that you are in college..
Now, everyone please witness this mental note......never let me get in her line again. Thank you!

A few random things....
Over the past couple of days I have seen quite a few random things that I just that I needed to blog about. Of course now that I am sitting in front of my computer about half of things I wanted to write are no longer in my brain, but I will see what I can do.
* Both the Hood and Direct TV blimp were residing in Beverly for the past week or so. As I was driving down Cabot Street one day, I looked up and they were literally both right next to each other and it appeared that they were racing. I didn't know that two blimps were allowed to travel so closely, but then again, when do you see two blimps literally right next to each other. I tried to take a picture on my phone, but it came out like crap...so you will just have to believe me. At least it is better than the time the Hood Blimp landed in the trees in Manchester...lol
.jpg">
*I saw a UPS driver standing next to his truck while a tow truck was hooking it up to be towed away...so sad:(
*I witnessed a man tie up his dog outside a store and leave him out there for a quite a while. Who does that? I am surprised he trusted the fine citizens of Beverly not to steal the poor thing.
*In anticipation of Manny being traded, last night I went to Modell's and purchased John a DREW shirt to take the place of his Manny shirt because I would not let him go to the game Saturday with it on. There was only one left and it was the model and it took the dude that worked there some intense figuring to get it down for me! No worries, I have it now.
*And today...Manny was traded to the Dodgers. Definitely warranted, yet very random...I definitely will miss him. But then I think back to when I was soooo upset when Nomar was traded and how I was in Maine and I just stared at the picture in the paper telling me of this "tragedy"...I did get over it.....I still have like 5 Nomar t-shirts and a jersey, but I got over it and the Sox moved on....Oh, and I bought myself a new shirt last night too, since my only shirts were Nomar....ya, ummm...don't make fun, my favorite player before that was Tim Naehring...haha...so I have updated to an Ortiz shirt....yay me.

End of July Update
I honestly can't believe it is already the end of July. Seriously, where is this summer going? Anyway, I felt the need to update you all as to what has been going on in my world lately.
Well, I saw Dark Knight twice. I know, I am a huge dork. But it was soooooooo good and Heath Ledger did such a good job playing a crazy person. It was definitely worth the twenty dolla that I dropped on the two viewings.
I finally met John's twin brother Jeremy. I was very nervous to meet him, but after the first 5 minutes it was totally fine. It was very strange to see two twin brothers have such different personalities. I guess I just figured since they look a like, they would act a like too...haha..I was totally wrong. So a few of us took John and his brother out for their birthday on Friday and it was a lot of fun.
I have decided I am going to wake up every AM and get my workout done early. I have gained quite a few lbs in the past year and I am not letting it get the better of me damnit!! Waking up early is not that easy though..haha. I will just have to start going to bed earlier.
I am looking forward to this week. I went out to dinner with John's family tonight, I am meeting a friend for dinner tomorrow and Thursday and going out with a couple of John's friends on Friday night. We are going to the Red Sox Game on Saturday and I am hanging with my bestest college friends on Sunday. It's going to be a busy, but very good week.
Not sure I will have time to write until next week, so until then, stay cool:)

Leaving Paradise and going back to Hell

For the past week I have been highly enjoying the fact that I have not had to work. I was spending my time up at CGF and having a Fabulous time. Not much has changed at CGF over the years and I still enjoying going very much. I do have to thank my Aunt, Uncle and cousins for still hosting us there for a couple weeks out of the summer.
As it is my blog tradition, I will share some of the photos of the week on here. For the most part it was a girls week, which was awesome. We relaxed, swam, went shopping and ate..haha..it was grand.
On the weekends, the boys came up and as always things did get interesting. But no injury's or deaths to report so it's all good......
So now, it's back to work for me tomorrow. Who knows that that will be like, I just know that it is going to be rough...
Ok my eyes are closing, because I am sooo tired, so I will end the blog now with a few photos....enjoy! I hope everyone is staying cool:)

Quick update
Because I haven't written in a little while I figured I would give you an update on my life. Well...let's see. I hate my job....ummm...ya, that basically sums it up...haha. I just honestly think that people are evil and I don't think that I should have to take the abuse that I take on a day to day basis. I mean honestly people, you are ruining my usually positive outlook on life.
I have a week off next week and it is greatly needed. I am excited to head up to CGF and relax for the week. I just hope and pray that the weather is somewhat good, because the sun that I see up there is probably the only sun that I see this summer (until I go to FL in September and I hope that the weather is good down there too)!
My diet has not been doing too well, which is sad, but whatever, it could be worse.
The Sox are seriously ticking me off lately, I mean, really, THE RAYS? wtf
I am excited to be going to a SOX game in August to celebrate John's bday. I just hope that they win for us!!
The people that live next to us have no screens in their windows, yet all the window's are open. This is a bit disturbing for me, especially since they have a cat that is sitting on the window ledge....he is seriously going to make a break for it soon, I know it.

I saw the BIGGEST beetle in the world on my porch tonight. I am seriously scared that it will find a way into the house and climb into bed with me tonight.
And in conclusion for my life update. I am very excited that DeAnna choose Jesse in the Batchelorette last night. He was my favorite from the beginning and I think they are going to be best couple:)
I am sure to have more exciting blogs coming up...I promise!!!

Me vs. Cell Phone, Computer and Car
As many of you know from reading previous posts I am not good with any of the following: cell phone, computer and car. This weekend proved to be more of the same. I will start with my computer. Many of you have probably purchased a computer with a trial version of a virus program on it. Well, I did that and recently that trial ran out. So when I was promoted to purchase the new version, I clicked purchase and off I went. However, as it usually goes with me, the new version that I downloaded was not compatible with my computer and for some reason the serial number was not correct. So I sent a few emails to the support center, I called up and they told me that they would email me a new version to upload. OK, so when I got the email, I clicked download....and not to my surprise really, the new Verizon didn't work. Awesome. SO I called up again and told them that I need a serial number. They emailed me the serial number and I am I up and running.
So now to my new cell phone. I love it! However, it has been an ongoing problem. It all started when I entered Verizon Wireless and fought with the dude there about the cost of the data plan he wanted me to purchase. I finally agree to the 29.99 one which would give me unlimited email and web. COOl. So I got my new phone and I was off.
So I tried the web and calendar and the damn thing wouldn't work. I spend a few hours online trying to trouble shoot the damn thing and then once again resorted to emailing the tech support. The next day I had no response so I decided to call them. I was on the phone for about 1 hour while this dude named Brian in L.A. tried to fix my problem. And he did and I have been up and running with email and web for about 2 weeks.......
And then, yesterday I get a statement in the mail. AGAIN, not really to my surprise, I was being billed $45 dollars extra on my bill. Um, WHAT?! So I headed over to Verizon again today. They told me that when I called over to tech support they messed something up and changed my service. I was like, ummmmmmmmmm..of course they did!!! So, now I think I am back up and running...with $29.99...but we will see..
OK, onto my car (I know right). While heading out to my car to go to Verizon today the car wouldn't start. Now, mind you I thought the car sounded funny yesterday and I remembering asking, "does the car sound funny, or is it my imagination". I remember John saying, "I think it may be a little of both". Well, it was obviously a lot of the car sounded funny and none of ME.
So right now, my car, with the help of a dude from AAA is sitting at the shop down on Rantoul street waiting for tomorrow. I will have to head down there with the help from my very awesome sister tomorrow at 7:00AM. I bet you a million dollar it is my battery. The reason I am thinking this, is because I just bought this battery like a few months ago...so I am guessing that is just me luck.
Anywho, that's the update from here. Thank god it's a 4 day week this week. WORD

Finding it hard lately.....
to go to work. Not because it isn't the most awesome job in the entire world and that I love it sooooo much. But because on the way to work there are less cars, no school buses and no children at any of the bus stops. At lunch I see kids and people heading to the beach with Frisbees and blankets. When I head home from work and I am ready to kill myself, those people are all headed on to sit on their porch and enjoy a nice ice cold beverage.
I am finding this very very hard!!! I love the summer and I am sad that for most if it I only get to enjoy the evening hours.
People complain about the heat, I complain that the AC in the office is way too cold. I seriously have no need for summer clothes except on the weekends. **the reminds me, I really need to look into getting a space heater for my desk***
I heard on the radio the other day that teachers get about 12 weeks of vacation a year. Don't get me wrong, teaching is a very hard job and I went to school to be a teacher. I am just saying. WHAT was I THINKING, not going into teaching. I am seriously reconsidering my career choice. NOT because of my love of kids and the wanting to give back to the community, but for the vacation! haha
Anywho, hope everything is having a great start to the summer! The 5 days off that I have this summer are going to R O C K!!! hardcore

End of yet another weekend...
I killed a chipmunk today. I know, so sad. I needed to confess because I feel awful. I tried to miss that little guy as he jumped right in front of my car, but alas, it was too late:( tear.

In better news, I did end up missing the rabbit that ran out in front of me earlier today....
And John and I booked our Florida trip! YAY! I could not be more excited. We are heading to Fort Lauderdale in September to rock it out and take a break from work! I would have gone this summer, but getting time off from work in the summer is like nearly impossible....unless you want to like sell a limb or something. But going during hurricane season might be awesome..ha ha ha.
So yet again, this weekend has come to an end and like always I am dreading going back to work tomorrow. Hopefully the week will fly so that we can all relax and enjoy the weekend once again:)

76 Bobby Pins
Is exactly how many were in my hair this weekend for Melissa and Patrick's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and I want to wish them both the best of luck! Melissa looked soooo beautious:) It was a lot of fun as well.
On a side note, after looking at the pictures from the wedding, I am never eating again! Definitely need to lose the weight that I have gained.
