10 years ago....

While over a good friend's house last week, she busted out a box of old letters, postcards, pictures etc. Inside the box was a letter that I wrote to her dated Sept. 1998. I was a freshman in college and I actually sat down and wrote a letter. I honestly can't believe that just 10 years ago, I actually took the time, to bust out paper, a pen, an envelope and a stamp, no spell check, no second chances, and wrote a letter.....

This actually made me think that I honestly am not sure I could do that today. I have gotten used to being able to delete words, re-write sentences and SPELL CHECK.

The letter was pretty hilarious, I forgot what an awesome (not) time I had the first few days of college. It was great blast from the past. But it was also a very eye opening experience about how much I rely on technology now. Back in college, I didn't use email very often, I didn't have a cell phone and I obviously communicated by letter..haha.

Freshman year would have been so awesome if Myspace, Blogs and cell phones were in my life!!!
