Fear of Hospital Stays

A lot of people have strange fears and I definitely have a few myself. Along with surgery comes the fear of pain and the fear of flat lining on the table (yes a legitimate fear of mine and I yes I have watched WAY too many hospital dramas). But I also have a fear of staying in the hospital for a few, well, really good reasons.

1. I have to wear that creepy hospital gown with no butt (fairly obvious).
2. The catheter (enough said).
3. Sleeping in the same room as three random, potentially old and cranky people.
4. Not being able to sleep, staring at the ceiling, while previously mentioned old people are hacking up a lung. OR, being in complete silence with that annoying hospital beep going in the background. What does that beep mean anyway?
5. People coming to visit me, while I look like hell, in my awesome hospital gown.
6. Getting a sponge bath...ewwwwww.
7. No computer, no email and no cell phone (wtf).
8. People constantly asking me on a scale from 1-10 how bad the pain is.
9. Did I mention the catheter??? Oh, ya, getting it taken out. ewwww.
